How we score it

  • We fetch your homepage once from our server, following up to 3 redirects, and read the HTML it sends back.
  • Each check is a pass (full points), a warning (half points) or a fail (no points). Your score is the points you earned out of 100.
  • Weights: signup button 12; title, meta description, H1, pricing link and a way to reach you 10 each; HTTPS and privacy/terms 8 each; phone layout and share image 6 each; response time and HTML size 5 each.
  • We don't run JavaScript, so anything your page only shows after JavaScript runs doesn't count.
  • The chart under your score comes from running these same checks on 100 small SaaS homepages listed on TrustMRR (verified revenue, $500 to $100,000 MRR) in Oct 2026.

Questions founders ask

What does a SaaS website grader check?

Ours runs 12 checks on your homepage HTML: HTTPS, title, meta description, H1, phone layout, share image, pricing link, signup button, a way to reach you, privacy and terms links, response time and page size. Each one is weighted, so the signup button counts for more than the share image.

What's a good score?

80 or more means the basics are covered. Under 60 means some of the heavy checks failed, and those are the ones visitors notice: no price, no signup button, no way to ask you a question.

Why does a pricing link matter so much?

People who can't find a price assume it's expensive and leave. A Pricing link in your nav fixes that in five minutes, even if you only have one plan.

Does it work on sites built with Lovable, Bolt or Webflow?

Yes. It grades the HTML your server sends, so it works on any public site. If your site is built with Lovable or Bolt, run the vibe-coded app checker too, since those sites often send almost no text before JavaScript runs.

Do you store my site or my results?

No. We fetch your page once, grade it and send back the checks. Only the URL goes in the share link.
